J and S safeguard check engine light fix

I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix the check engine light from being set off by the J and S? I installed it a few years back but know I need to take my car though emissions and I cant pass with a check engine light on. I know there was a fix for it and I did a search for it but I couldnt find anything,, if anyone could help me out with this info it would be greatly appreciated.

Might be the same problem why the Emanage Ultimate tripps the the Check Engine light. You need to install resistors inline with the coils so it sends a dead signal back to them when they arent being fired. It tricks them to tell the ECU they are being fired when they arent.

You need a set of resistors to feed back to the ECU that the coils are working correctly, but why not just use the bypass temporarily by taking the unit out of the loop though it will still be working in wasted spark mode...
