What is a better upgrade for the money between the two? I think I have enough money to do either one. Suggestions?

Oh, hell, the VB Upgrade (from what I understand of it)...The VB Upgrade is the FIRST major engine thing im saving up for. After all it's improving your TRANSMISSION life, power, shift...not noise and HP. Look at your other post: questions for you Sc/and or NOS auto's....

I just want to make sure that I get my money's worth before I decide what to buy. The only problem though, is that I can't afford any downtime. This is my only car and my daily driver unless I convince my parents to drive up here and have them leave one of their cars for temporary use. I'll start calling up some transmission shops around here, the Bay Area (CA), for quotes on installation. I don't think I can do this mod on my own, even if I had all the tools.

VB mod by far. It's on par w/ the Y pipe+intake set-up for the amount it lowers your ETs. Not to even mention what is does for the longevity of your tranny.

Right on brother.Right on.

Now to answer your Q...Don offer's core exchanges or something like that. What this means is Don has a limited # of the pre-made modded tranny part, and he can give that to you. all while keeping your original peice. no downtime. I'm not 100% sure on all these details but Worth checkin out my man !!!!!!
