installing foglights question

installing foglights question

someone told me here that to install foglights using my prewired GLE housing that I need a relay and a new headlight stalk with foglight option added to it...so where the hell do they sell these things and do they come together?? i dont want a rigged ghetto foglight setup so if they have something out there legit i want it. thanks

you have to buy the parts off a maxima....look in the fs forum or go to the junkyard. You need to make sure you have the wiring. Don't just assume you do because someone said it. Either way it doesn't really matter if you don't care about them turning off with high beams. Just wire them up.

you can post in the wtb section, and see if anyone has it, also the daelership has them. I did this like two months ago, i just went and got the headlight stalk with foglight switch from the dealership. It came out to like $86. Also dont forget you need the brackets for the fog lights to sit in if you dont already have them

buying the kit is such a waste of money. You can get the whole thing for much cheaper. I know someone was selling their entire fog system for $70.
