firewall question

firewall question

i am trying to put my bumper neon wire through my firewall, but i wanted to ask you guys first on how to do it.

Got some good advice from studman.

"I ended up getting the wire through the same hole as the hood release cable...I stuck a screwdriver through the rubber boot/grommet from under the dash, duct taped the wire to the screwdriver, and pulled the wire through from inside the fender well."

That is the most common. If you need another hole the best thing you can do is drill one in that same location. Start with a small drill bit for metal and gradually use bigger bits to suit the size you want.

at least ure a rubber grommet.. so u dont cut the wire if u tug on it... dont it once do it right....
