check the wires for a short, it also may be an internal short inside one of the o2's, but I'd start by looking at the wires near the manifold on the rear bank. Also, download the fsm on phatg20.net, it will be of great help.

if one goes bad and you take your time to replace it, it will effect the other ones and the knock sensor.

you may not have to pay, but i still dont believe it. if they trained him and told him that than i dont see why he wouldnt believe it. but car dealers and manufactures are schemey. ill believe it when it happens to my car. but in about 5 months, ive had ZERO problems with any other one or the knock sensor. i havnt heard of many cases where anyone has replaced one and then all the others suddenly went bad too. sure over time (like a year or maybe longer) it could happen, and in some cases sh*t luck makes all go bad within a short period of time...but why waste your money if theyre still working properly? (obviously, since you dont have to pay...that last statement doesnt apply to you)

ok apparently you must know everything. I've seen over 10 cases that the knock sensor and eventually the other 02 sensors have gone bad. None for a 99 maxima, but mostly for 95-97. Since his car is a 97 it's the same issues i've had.

So I guess that's bull**** as well. Hmm..

alright man, i wish you and your car the best. i was simply trying to say that theres no reason to change them if theres no code, because that means theyre still in spec. but if you want to, hey...its youre car go for it! no need for the attitude though man. i was kidding about the knowing everything. you didnt need to add the "good for you" sarcastic comment. if you didnt mean it to be sarcastic though, my bad for reading it wrong.
