what struts should i buy?

i have a 97 max on 20 inch rims(i already know most of you will say im stupid) but anyways im in need of some new struts for the back tires. what is the best brand of strut or what kind should i get because right now my struts are so bad that the wheels hit when i go over bumps at higher speeds......

....(dumb question but please help) does the 97 max only have struts in the back or do i need shocks also?

struts and shocks are essentially the same thing, sorta

I have Tokico Illuminas on my car, love them 5-way adjustable, you will probably need new springs if you want to lower the car too, I have s. techs, but most people on here hate them, and they'd probably make your wheels rub, who knows

but to answer your question: tokico

your best bet would be to get tokico shocks. most people have them and they're known for a good ride quality. if you want somethin cheaper then try kyb's.
