What would you do?

Alright, so I just checked under my damaged CV boots and felt some grime in the grease. So the joints are probably f****d anyways. The car isn't clicking or anything though. I think I might just leave it as is and drive on it anyways. Just wait till it starts clicking and I'll just replace the whole axle. It's less work to just replace the whole axle as compared to replacing just the boots anyways, and axles aren't all that expensive, right? It just sits a little off with me to know that somethings wrong with the car and not do anything about it...

Check out Raxles.com. Sick axles. Little pricey but totally worth it. The axles shouldnt be more than 120 bucks from your local autoparts store with your cores. When I switched axles it was so much easier to steer. It felt like a new car. Don't wait till it starts clicking by then it could be to late and you could take off from a stop light and have your CVJ just rip into shreds then youre looking at a whole mess of trouble.

Haha, hell no, when I replace the axles I'm going to get like the cheapest axles they got that're still reliable, or at least have a decent warranty. The max is a grocery getter/daily driver for me, I dont take off in it and have bike for that. The joints should be clicking and get way worse before they even get close to the point where they break apart.

I don't know about it going to that extent...my left outer boot was ripped all to hell, full of sand and dirt and clicked like crazy going around corners, but I had no problems at all after several months of torque-braking and launching it, doing burnouts, going WOT around corners, doing back to back runs at the strip, etc.

Only replaced it because that clicking was annoying the hell out of me.
