AC compressor stuck ... What next?

Ok ... long story short:

My AC compressor is melted, resulting in a stuck wheel where the serpentine belt rest on the compressor .... So, everytime I turn the engine on, the belt will rub against the compressor, squealing and getting hot until it breaks ....

I'm waiting for an AC compressor to come. In the meantime, I'll need to drive the car around. Is there anyway to bypass the AC compressor if I'm not running AC at all? What's the length of the belt should be if I need to bypass the AC. It must be shorter, of course. But does anyone knows exactly the length?

Thanks all.

you can bypass it with a shorter belt. I think a 37" belt will work. Check here:
