basically NGK - however long u wanna keep them on - kind

i put in platinums bacause i did not know better, my next set is going to be NGK coppers, cause i like working on my engine and see how its performing / lasting by analyzing the spark plugs. if u r lazy get the iridiums and forget about it.

basically NGK anything of the right heat range

NGK Platinum is the OEM replacement & last 60,000 miles.

NGK Copper is supposed to give a colder spark & only last 30,000 miles.

Only use NGK Iridium if you have boost of some sort...

I have NGK Iridiums in my stock 99 SE and they work great... only motor mod is a simple cone filter to get rid of that air box...

Iridium > Platinum, boosted or not, nitrous or not. Period, end of story.

Options:

NGK IFR5E11: OEM-style iridium. >120k miles.

NGK BKR5EIX-11: Iridium IX series. Better spark, 100k+ miles.

NGK BKR5E-11: V-Power series (copper). Best spark, <30k miles, SUPER cheap.

Denso IK16: Denso Iridium Power series. Best spark, ~50k miles, expensive (~$12 each).

Stay away from Bosch and other brands.
