Stripped bolt

So i got my new strut tower bar into and i started wrenching away, and i thought it would only take about 10 min to do, but when i got to one of the 3 bolts one was rounded off, anybody have some tips how to get a rounded bolt off? thanks

at work, i hammer the hell out of the head of the bolt to try to flatten out the edges and maybe get some semblance of a bolt head back, then hammer the socket onto the bolt so its nice and tight, push down while wrenching. also heat, if you have it (like a small propane torch)

Vise grips, get them SOOO tight that you can barely lock them, heat also works wonders!

Also, this won't help your situation since it is a nut, but I wanted to add this tip because it has saved my **** in the past...... On stuck/damaged/broken bolts heat the part and put the easy-out or stuck bolt remover in the freezer for 20 minutes, then work quickly, trust me, snapping an easy-out inside a stuck bolt is no fun, those things are imposible to drill!

dont even attempt this with a propane torch !!! i assume its a nut, just grab some vise grips, get them set up so you can just lock them on the nut, then remove em, heat it up with a TORCH, slap the vise grips on there and spin her off
