wtf - ss clutch line - am i just new???
I have been searching for the correct line and info on it for the past half an hour and am frustrated to no end!
I am looking for the brand of the SS line that replaces BOTH rubber hoses - I called techna-fit today and they told me it did not replace both but only the longer upper hose. This to me is the dumbest sounding design ever, why would you put a SS line on and then leave 3 inches rubber???
I know that I read about a hose that replaced everything from the MC to the SC, but cant find it to save my life. Can someone please tell me where to find this part and if it replaces the junction box that the old lines run to.
Thanks

I have one that replaces all the original rubber line. It goes from the hard line on the frame to the slave, about 15" maybe. There are longer ones available that run from the MC directly to the slave if you wanted to rid the silly loop of hard line too.

the techno-fit one? there seams to be two different group buys and and dont know which to get. One is in the general section and the other in the groupbuy section - both are run by different people and the description is different
Honestly this little part is taking way to much effort to figure out....its just a stupid line that runs from one spot to the next. All i want to know is which version to get that will replace both the rubber lines.

That "silly loop" of hard line is there to reduce clutch chatter, I'm told. Since it's a hard line it's not going to affect feel much if at all. No good reason to bypass it IMO.
I bought a Technafit SS clutch line from the group deal a couple of years ago. Can't remember who was running the deal but I just asked for a 4th gen clutch line and they sent the right part. I would just ask them how long it is and then check how long you need it to be in the engine bay. Mine definitely replaced both rubber lines and the little junction box.

Would someone that has this line mind measuring the line they installed (if thats possible). I called Techna-fit today to order it and they told me that I could get one made just a couple of inches longer if needed. They make each line to order and dont carry an inventory so you can pretty much custom make any line that you want.
