question about shaving emblems..

i tried for about 1 hour or 1.5 hours to take all of the glue off. i used adhesive/tar remover but all of the glue wouldn't get off. would goo gone do better?

just keep going. 3M adhesive remover should take it all off. Use your nails or whatever and get it off. It's all the same products.

dont use ur nails, or u'll look like a witch afterwards, use a cloth and ur muscles if u got any, dont scratch paint, its really easy to scratch, do it on a hot day...

haha so is getting your hands dirty when working on a car not a good thing? Why would you not use nails? You get more off easily without scratching the paint.

ummm he suggested the cloth to not be so abrasive on the paint.

WD40, not kidding it removes tar from paint and glass, it cuts at it, haven't tried it on glue but worth a shot. . .

Here's another addition to the list (I just tried it, and it works wonders)... electrical contact cleaner (comes in a spray can).

This thing works wonders!

wow easy there. He said not to use nails or you'll look like a witch. It was just a joke. Didn't mean to get you worked up. My point was that yours nails aren't going to scratch the paint.

i've tried that too. i just got some goo gone from my friend. imma see if this things works tomorrow. kinda tired from work..

hes exactly right. thats what i did. except i did it when it was winter so i used a hair dryer

i finally got all of the glue off. i used goo gone. goo gone works wonders.. =] also smells better than wd40!!

Dude just buy this product called "Goo-begone" from like walmart or something. Put some on with a cloth and wait for about 1 minutes and wipe it off. Worked on mine.

Goo Gone was the key for me. I used WD40 and then switched over. Tons better.
