altezza connections
I got my altezzas delivered the other day and was looking at the new connections for the tailights.
I have one question for those who bought the altezzas. What did the conneciton look like for the OUTER TAILLIGHTS?
I was given four of the same connections. They were perfect for the trunk connections but not for the outer tails.
The connections i was given has a place for 2 bulbs and then a connector to connect it.
What is the one for the outer tails?
Also the ne waltezza tailight is both the stop light and then blinker, on the old tailight, the two were seperate, how do you connect it but most importantly describe the outer tail light connection
Thanks so much!

on the ds the outer one you just undid the conncetion and put the new one in, the ps i had to rip that plastic thing off to get it to connect, pulled it from bth sides and then put them back together, its not difficult, the wiring harness can go for any of the 4 lens, i took out my old ones and noted that the bulbs were 2 dots on one and 1 dot on the other, cant remember which went on top and bottom, though, they are the same all around, this isnt a difficult task, just look at it and go, dont worry about blinker and brake, just hook the connection in place of the old one, and dont forget to put some cool amber bulbs in the small corners in place of the whites on the far outside
first off, whats ds? and whats ps?
so u are saying for the outer tailights u had to rip the old housing out and use that plastic piece from the housing to connect all the lights. how did you get that plastic cover off the old housing on the outer taillight, is it just screws and thats it???
also dont worry about the stop light and blinker bulb, in the altezza light, is there a partition so it seperates the blinker from stop light or is it one big circular piece???

ok, there are 4 screws per taillight piece, plrod was correct about ds & ps, take of all the screws first, then when you take the original lens out, disconnect the old wiring harness, there is a plastc clip that you just push a piece in, it will come loose, and then put the new harness in its place, put bulbs in the new harness then twist into the altezzas back, its really easy, i believe they all work like that except the ps outer taillight, there is some plastic thing holding the original harness to the original lens, i had to break the plastic that held it there, but that thing just held the connection, then i believe i reconnected the 2 pieces that were inserted into the plastic thing, if you look back there you will see what im talking about, this installation is really easy, just look at it and you will be able to figure it out...
