Anyone ever removed the rear exterior door handle???

was this never intended to come off?! i have a replacement door handle and the farthest back screw that is connected to the handle/door is IMPOSSIBLE to reach with seemingly anything.. i have everything i can think of off and am beyond puzzled as to how... anything can get that far back there (in the door frame/well) to create any torque whatsoever on a nut....
...
..
.
grr

Yes they do come out.. unfortunately panel beater did mine. From memory with the door card off and after removing internal handle, etc I don't think it should be too difficult to reach.. I thought there were holes in the metal door to allow screwdriver access.

you need to remove the lock mechanism on the side if i remember right...then it slides over and you can take it out from that....if not a socket then a ratcheting wrench.

i took em off a couple yrs ago. iirc theres a hole under a lil sticky vinyl circle. either that or an open wrench with an angled head and a long handle. its been a while, but there IS a way.

Its a major PITA. I removed the door latching mechanism and the 1/4 window and finally got that booger off. Putting it back on is another story.
