Speedo stops working or stays at random numbers

Sometimes when im driving, my speed drops down to 0. or itll sit at 41, or 62 or 100 something. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. It just happens. I used the google search thing but have not come up with the same issue. Anyone have insight into this problem?

check your board on the speedo, either that or your wiring that hooks up to the speedo.

Lol thanks for the spoon feeding. I found that thread a bit ago but the previous owner said he had gone to the dealer several times and they replaced it and it still showed the same problem. I think im going to rip out the cluster and see if theres anything there. ill also double check the dealer's work.

Its a $38 part and I don't see why you wouldn't just spend that small amt of $ and spend a few hours doing it. It is most likely your problem, as not as bad as the other guy's whose speedo and tac both stopped working. IMO for $38 just change it.
