Rear Strut Blown...

how can i get a good diagnosis without possibly getting lied to? the car drives ok, but it sounded like a goddam boulder is rolling around in my trunk whenever i go over the tinyest bump.

im gettn rid of it in 6 months or less, can i just go to a midas or tires plus or something?

What he said plus get a FSM, a spring compressor, floor jack, a wrench set and replace it, I've never done it (although mine is starting to leak so I will be doing it soon) but I've heard it isn't very hard to do even though it's less accesible than the front struts.

just did my whole suspention over because the driver's rear strut was blown. The passengers is ok i think, you want it? free + shipping. That way you're not putting money into it. It's real simple replacing the rears. I did all 4 in about 5 hours with no impact tools or help.

well to be honest...i really dont know exactly whats wrong. for all i know it could just be a blown strut mount. whats the charge at a place like midas for just diagnosing the problem?

i read you can start bouncing your rear suspension by standing on the edge of your trunk... to feel whether the strut still good or not. .02
