Decision time. Nex SS coilovers or Progress/AGX

This will be on my daily driver on some of the worst streets in America (Brooklyn, NY). There's a discrepancy of about $100-120 between the two choices. The Nex SS don't have adjustible damping. What should I rock with?

Neither.

Get Konis, shorten them and run springs no lower than 1.7".

I just saw the GD for K-sports... I've made my decision. Just save and wait, do it right the first time.

Ksport = cheaply made, flimsy parts, and noisy as hell. I would suggest something else for your hard earned money.

Yeah they were MUCH better back in the day. Mine were perfect.... They made no noises what so ever. I would invest in progress or boss chens or if you don't want to pay that price or wait for them then D2's. I haven't heard of anyone complaining about them blowing out or anything. They did have a problem in the past with noise but I have heard from numerous people that problem was solved.

Awww man, but the GD was so good. I guess I'll have to wait till August when I can get the D2s. I'll do a search, but what problems are people having with K-sports? I haven't heard anything bad about them.

go with coilover... I had k-sport, blown the rear-right strut. maybe it's just my luck. seen some ppl like it, and some ppl don't. so back to your decision, but again, you got what you paid for.

I spoke with d00d in PMs... he recommended a crazy Koni setup (3rd gen Red fronts, 4th gen Yellow backs, 7/6kg springs). I've had Koni shocks on my last two cars and I love them, but I really don't know if I'm ready to make the GC/Koni investment...

I've ridden in cars with the generic Taiwanese coilovers (Omnipower, Nex I believe) and they rode decently. The only thing is, this was in Hondas. I know the Maxima chassis is more flimsy than them, and will transmit much more shock to the cabin with stiffer springs. But the Konis are proven... I dunno...
