****Really Need Some Input....!!!! ASAP!!!

So basically after installing another tranny in my car, ive been having start up problems. Trying to solve those problems meant replacing the starter not once, not twice but three times within two weeks. After putting in an extra relay and running wires to the starter plug, and the battery with a new ground, i still have the same problem. The problem is it doesn't want to start.........but an idea popped into my mind today when the car didn't want to start. While trying to start it all it did was click, so i moved the car a few inches put it into park, and.......whala.....its starts right up. I'm not planning on moving my car a few inches, whenever it decides to start acting up so PLEASE HELP!!!

What wires and plugs should i check, and what should I be on a look out for?? Any extra grounds I should be running and to where?

Ground from tranny to chassis, often overlooked when installing new tranny. 5spd or auto? Check for the ground anyhow, make sure its there, regardless install a new one

Im guessing auto, hence "putting it in park" but it would definetly check the ground wire again

define what you mean by "clicking". is it mechanical (ie starter motor, or gears) clicking,, or liek relays clicking. because those are two different problems,, one that you DO NOT want to have to deal with. (the gears one)

theres a litlle black wire that connects to the body from the trans. should be to left of the driver side CV axle either way it goes its not suffencient IMO. Just do the ground mod and run a 8 gauge wire to the starter bolts to the crossmember or body that should work wonders for you. ALso if i were in a second tranny do youreself a favor and purchase a tranny cooler and completley bypass the factory one. Best of luck to you

It's a really soft click, and yes it's an auto.

Ran new ground for the tranny and engine and still having the same problem. One of the mechanics told me that its the safety neutral switch....and yes it does start when i put it into neutral without moving it. anything else i should be on a lookout for....and yes the little black plug was connected
