I am going to get a custom catback exhaust system and want to know if later on I can get a y-pipe or if this is in the place of the y-pipe. Can the two go together or do I need somthing else other than the y-pipe? Thanks

 

you can get a y-pipe later. its a whole different piece from your catback. it goes as such.. exhaust manifold>y-pipe>cat>b-pipe>muffler. the cat back is the b-pipe and the muffler and the y-pipe comes before that. for instance, i have a catback now and i am planning to get a y-pipe very soon. hope that helps
