Made it just past 200,000.....

Got rear ended in a rain storm yesterday. Waiting on the adjuster to come by and determine if it's fixable or not.

It was a pickup. He was following too close for the rainy conditions I was in. What sucks is I had just got all the little things like power windows and such fixed on it.

If they total it...get the check, buy it back, and make $$$ to buy a better max.

Sucks, do your homework as to value and make sure his insurance company doesn't rear-end you too --> good luck

You got rear ended....just sue them and/or make them buy you a 03 3.5 6spd fully loaded...its there fault for not using a brake...guy rear ended me a long time ago and was like im sorry i didnt see you and i didnt stop...now how the **** do you not see a car in front of you.Maybe this one was a real accident though..so maybe go easy on them or something. If its some dumbass then id say sue.

What will he sue for? His insurance company will go after his to pay for the damages so he will be getting a check regardless.

Well, the insurance company came out and the cost to repair it was 114% of the value of the car. So they totaled it. Long story short, I now have a 2000 Infiniti I30T. Pics to come soon!

Well if the other guy's insurance pays for his damages, then he shouldn't have to buy it back right, it should stay in his possession. Unless his insurance pays the cost and takes the car.

This same thing happened to my 95 Max when I hit 200K on the odometer. Dork in a riced out Neon rearended me at a red light. Totalled my car and his car, funny thing was it wasn't his car it was his sisters. So his insurance had to pay for my car and his sisters! A 95, 5spd, w/ 205K only fetched me $2300. I believe I got another $1000 from pain and suffering, lawyer wanted more but I was feeling fine.
