we may be able to help if you give us info .... your post just says your having problems and that you have tried "too many things" ... like what?

Does it die when you put it in gear every time? What about into Neutral? How long has this been happening? Any other problems or indications? Does the car run or idle rough ... if so, when (hot / cold / doesn't matter)?

Moral is ... MORE INFO

Why not? Nobody said for sure thats it but from the limited info and obviously diagnosing via the interweb is fairly hit or miss anyway....I think the MAF is a decent place to start and probably the easiest thing to check. he could easily come over the bridge and try mine in hs car free of charge and see what happens...maybe somebody closer by him has one he can try...eiter way its till an easy, cheap place to start....but thanks for your input

Not saying it isn't the MAF ... but it could be several other things too. I agree it is a good place to start with the "very limited" info we got ... and as I said in my first post ... NEED MORE INFO! So ... unless more info is provided, just ruling it down to the MAF is a stab in the dark really.

Other things it could be ... ks, bad injector(s), MAF, vacuum leak, trans issues ... without more info nobody can know ... just based on what the OP says. Sorry, not tryin to be a here ... but if he wants help with this problem ... he'll post more info.

EDIT: any codes? Shoulda been my first question really!
