me agree too. it took me forever to get them, i didnt mind the orange ones for a while but then when i put on the diamond cut ones they really make a big difference. after installing them i wanted to give the car a "clean" type look. i took my decals off, shaved my tunk letters, logo, all that just cuz of them. later ppl.

Yeah, clear corners do look great. Am hoping the clear tails will have the same effect. Other people really don't notice, but the rear orange looks bad--bugs the heck outta me now. I see other cars like the ES300, etc, have gotten rid of the orange in newer models and they look great.

RE: Diamond-Cut Clear Corners...

I don't know...I think the orange ones add a little flavor to the car...but its really all a matter of personal preference. Maybe I'm not a fan of them because I haven't seen them on a Maxima. I've seen the regular ones, and I thought they look decient. But the diamond-cut ones sould a lot nicer. I don't know. I really don'y care. I have way too many performance mods to buy before those - I don't even have an F.S.T.B.!

Did you get the diamond cut ones? Or the clear corners?
There is a difference. I have the clear corners, but I'm considering replacing them with the diamond cut ones.

Diamond cut all the way

A long time ago in an earlier thread about this, someone advised us 95-96 owners not to get Diamond Cut clear corners because they don't match the headlights as well as on the 97-99 models. He was WAY off. I took a chance and got them--had the same reaction you did. Awesome look!

I was going to get LED bulbs, but I have to say that the standard bulbs look great in these new corners. Can't see why you'd want to bother, especially when considering the cost.

But yes, only guys who like Maximas (and the occasional girl) will appreciate the look. I had one Integra owner say "There's something different about your car, that makes it look better than other Maximas I've seen. What is it?" I mentioned the clear corners and he caught on instantly. "Gotta get those for my Integra!"

The amber ones might look ok with some colors, like gold. But I definitely prefer clear.

For reference, of the 110 Maximas at the North East LSP meet, 5 DIDN'T have the clear corner/turns.

hahaha I remember my first ever Maxima meet at the movie theatre in Natick, MA and I think I was the only max, or at least the only 4th gen, without front clears. I was like "oh man I feel more like an outcast now" . And I remember you Andy kept telling me "man you gotta get some clears"
