Wiring a kill switch

Wiring a kill switch

I know there has to be a thread for this somewhere, but I searched the stickies and I did a general search and found little information...can someone help me or link me to a page that shows you how to wire up a kill switch.

I might just be totally oblivious to what your trying to say,

I can help you out, but kill switch to.. do what?
just cut the engine?

To start the engine...so if someone breaks into my car, they have to move the turn signal or push the hazard light in or something, before my car will start.

It isn't that hard, cut the wire you want to disable (fuel pump, power to the ECU, ignition switch, cam sensor, starter, whatever), hook both ends up to a NO relay, use a toggle switch or existing switch in the car to activate the relay. Granted, if you just want it active for starting, it would have to be starter related, unless whatever you wire it up to will/can stay on the entire time you're driving.
