illumina strut and spring kit? How are they

I see that yo can buy the illumina struts with springs for around $580.00
How is the ride and the ride height with these? Any other suggestions on upgrading my suspension would be great.

I love mine, the springs are not too soft or two stiff, perfect for daily driving...lowering is pretty even without a system i the back, probably around 1.5 in the front. Overall its probably the best purchase I have ever made...

I have that combo, and i have to say i love it!!!!!! it doesnt slam the car to the floor but it is a huge improvement over stock suspension. My front came down about 1.7 inches and my rear was down 1.5 inches. The ride is great, even with bad roads, its not an aggressive drop so i would say its a great setup for a daily driver.

I have them and love it. Its what they have said above. Not too low so you dont scrape but with the adjustability of the struts you can choose how soft or stiff you want them. Plus it performs. When I first got them put on along with my rims and tires me and the Austin Maxima guys went on a nice twisty road run and loved the performance. My dad even road in my car and he like it. I have my settings at 5 front 4 back. Here is a pic of my car with the kit on. My home page has more as well.

Here is mine:

Here is a pic of Dubbya's ride as well to give you an example

I just installed the Tokiko Illumina kit about a week ago.. I set them on 2 F&R and after driving to work for about a week, I set them to 1 F&R.. the drop is noticeable, but not slammed.. I drive 40 miles to work 1 way, and I feel the ride is a little bumpy on bad sections of the freeway.. when the freeway is smooth, no problem.. and on the back road twisties, they shine! The car just wants to go around corners.

The specs say 1.25" drop but it sounds like its a bit more than that? Has anyone checked it. I would like a bit more than 1.25

I looked at the tokico blues but they are only about $120.00 less than the luminas. I would guess the adjustability is worth it. Anyone have any experience with the blues?

They are basically a stock replacement, the kit itself has a lower stance and probably a stiffer ride, better handling then stock. But you need stiffer dampeners for the whole package, illuminas are the way to go Unless of course you go with Konis, which I kinda regret not getting

Anyone tried the illuminas with the H&R springs? How would they compare to the tokico springs? It seems like everyone thinks the H&Rs have a good ride but I don't think the tokico springs have been out as long.

Well I had tokico springs with H&R springs. Lets just say now i'm trying to get OEM springs again. I liked the drop but the ride quality goes way down. You'll see. On the highway it was great but that it. the moment there was an imperfection in the road you will feel it. I wish i would have save my money and bough the air stut kit

Be prepared for body roll

Some people can't handle it, but if your willing to sacrifice a little ride quality (it really isn't that bad, but to each their own) any spring and strut set except maybe s-techs are perfect for daily driving...

I actually had mine dialed at 3 in the front before, turned it up to 4 and I actually felt like ride quality improved, it was harsher, but less bouncy if that makes sense...

I just set mine to 5 all around and I love it. Not really bouncy just stiff. I look forward to turns every time.
