i was on my way home and i was stopped at a light, well this was a road that was right before a neighborhood, well a new Z71 truck with two teenage kids comes from behind and get up next to me right as thelight changes, he has a rolling start, well the thing is the rod goes from two lanes into one immediately once you get through he light, maybe 2 lanes for a whole carlengths, well basically we boh wanted to be ahead so i decided to go on him, he was equal with me so he decides to go, i get it up to about 50 and already had a carlength on him he was pushing the truck pretty hard, but we had been going two cars in one lane, so he was pratically running on the side, well we get to the neighorhood, and for some reason all the roads in my area have speedbumps on them, so i have to get hard on the brakes so i dont kill my car over the bump, ruining my car over him would be worthless, so i slow down and the dumba$$ goes over the bump at 40 mph and it tosses him everywhere and he cutsback in front of me, i whooped him, but got screwed by the road, anyway the guy pizzed me off, but i still won, so ha, oh well, thats my story for today...

Right on! Its fun to kick the **** out of trucks, I never get tired of it. I raced a '97 Tacoma 4X2 tonight, it had the TRD supercharger. He ran a 17.783 and I creamed him with a 16.597. He was a little more than just mad - he was ****ed, asking if I had NOS or anything. I thought he was going to start a fight. Oh well, if he cant drive a 5-speed thats his problem.

Oh yeah, we raced at aprox. 4900 feet - that should explane the slow times.

ya it was not even a 1/4 mile that i did it on, maybe 1/6 or so, we fit two cars in one lane, no room for mistake
