Yes, if you go with a piggyback EMS or standalone. EU and MS both do it, none of the AFCs do (VAFC, SAFC, etc).

Why do you need a launch control? Are you turbo or just looking for consistent launches?

From what I can find online (mostly from 3S sites) EB doesn't have a 2 step, only the EU does.

Greddy units are not plug and play, you need to rewire (cut, strip and solder) your main harness and a sub-harness. Once installed you need to calibrate a slew of sensors and have a basic understanding of car tuning and a better understanding of computers. I am doing the E-Manage Ultimate in the spring... setting aside a week or so to get it right. There are plenty of plug and play units out there.

If you were intending on doing absolutely nothing but launch control (which would be a waste of an EU, really) then all you would need to wire up are speed input, injector input/output, power, and ground I believe, IIRC that's all it uses to do the 2 step.

Honestly, the full EU isn't that hard to wire up at all. Someone familiar with electrical work can get it done in 2 hours, and that's with a few **** ups along the way.

speaking of launches, i have having a problem with my three day old max. first of all, its a 96 GLE, excellent condition. the only problem i have is on soft acceleration (like off a light in heavy traffic) i feel a SLIGHT lurching when i am gradually depressing the gas. if i floor it the pickup is beautiful and smooth, but if im driving it soft it seems inconsistent. a couple of ideas are a pinhole in the vaccum line or the fuel injectors. does anyone have any other ideas? is this damaging anything by not repairing it? i got gumout just for the hellofit but i want to make sure this is nothing more serious. i want to stress again how slight the lurching is....its almost not noticable - only on smooth roads when im trying to feel it.
