Mevi's Rod contact points

On VQPower.com it's said to lube the contact points of the rod, and insert into VI. Im curious to know what kind of lubricant should I use. Any insight will be appreciated thanks.

Any silicone grease will work just fine. Can be found at any auto parts store.

Silicone is good, because it won't dry out the o-rings. Not sure if brake caliper grease is silicone (the one that comes in a little package and sold for 99 cents at Autozone) but I'm sure it would work just as well.

Just don't apply too much. A little grease goes a long way.
