I read that thread and I want to do it but the pictures are dead! Does anyone know if there's an updated thread w/ pictures for this mod or can anyone help me out with it?

Once you get the mount out it should be clear what to do.

Or buy a new mount from Nissan. Only $40.

Right but I don't know where it is located due to not having pictures...

Can anyone describe it better or have pictures about how to do this?

it is above you cat heat shield. You have to raise your car to get to it.

First raise your car than look for the cat, you'll notice a cat heat shied.

Remove the 5bolts that hold that cat shield onto the car,

Then you'll have access to the shifter bushing.

When I install a short throw shifter would this be the best time to replace this bushing? Or would that bushing be part of the new STS?
