Introducing myself

Hi everyone

I just thought id semi-formally introduce myself.
Zac, 17, Hawaii.

I picked up a 4th gen maybe a month ago.
Was looking at the 5 spd 4th gens for a while.
I think i got a pretty good deal. Fairly modded maxi at a great price.

Picked it up for $1000, got it painted for $700.
Mods include:
z32 maf
z32TT injectors
sard fpr
tein h tech springs
morgan shocks
rear sway bar
upper front and rear strut bars
cross drilled rotors
stage 3 clutch
sarona mesh grill
clear corners
cefiro headlights
red/clear tails
tint - if that counts

Plans:
Alloy rims (from a 350 or newer maxi or altima)
Downgrade from H techs to S techs.. i want it lower
add stock spoiler
Nothing else major, just interior work etc.. maybe replace the seats with leather.
Heres a picture of my car:

the picture makes it look a lot better than it is.. the side moldings were taken off, and theres a couple of bondo spots, so its uneven on the sides

Anyway, I just wanted to say that this is a great forum, found lots of information here and picked up a few parts.
Thanks!

Why the Z32 fuel equipment and an FPR if no other power adders?

Congrats and welcome! You got a great deal and the it looks good.

Just be careful w/ the S-Techs, they might be nice and low, but the ride will be rough.

G/L w/ the new ride.

Nice Max, you should just keep the H-Techs and get a bigger wheel/tire to fill up the gap.

Best springs made for the A32, overall. Stick with these.

Never heard of them.. .Go with Konis or Tokico Illuminas and you will have the best suspension for daily-driving on an A32

looks like you got a great deal. were the moldings taken off before you got it or by the person who did the paint? research those s techs a lil before you buy em.

welcome to the .org!

Can't beat that price. The car will look really good with nice wheels, that's where I'd put my money.

Yeah, everything was done by the PO.

I was actually looking at 350z alloys, if the guy still has it when im off from work im picking them up.

I did hear that the S techs arent that great of a ride, but i dont believe i'll feel it much. I had blown shocks in my mr2 and could not feel it at all.
My friend has s techs in his integra and the ride seems fine to me, or is it just s techs for maximas that are bad?

Thanks for all the feedback!

Don't recommend s-techs either. I've been riding on them for about a year or more but the ride could also be bad because of the crappy gr2's (not to mention the roads here in NY suck *****). If you upgrade to 17 or 18" on your current h techs, there will be a difference where you may not even want to drop.

Definitely like the look of the car though. And a very good price for the mods on it.

welcome. if you want to drop it more dont downgrade, either stick with what u have or get coilovers( if u say u wont mind the ride)

Not even all Maximas...just the 4th gen version. Some applications of the S-Techs are great. A32s- not so much...
