I am thinking of buying a Trenz upper grill for my '99 black SE Maxima and was wondering if I should get the brushed or polished grill? Which one would look better with the black paint? Thanks,

Nathan

Depends on what else you are planning to do with the car. I personally would get the polished grills to match my chrome wheels. In other words, coordinate it with other factors in mind. Either grill will look great on a black car.

RE: Trenz Grill...

Honestly, I think the polished ones is a little too much...maybe for a show car. The brushed one looks more race-like and hardcore. Just trying to help .

What do you guys think if I would get the brushed aluminum grill and paint it black to match the body color? Would you be able to see the lines/holes in the grill or would the grill area just look like solid black?

It would probably look solid black but if you threw an emblem on there it might not look too bad.

What emblem would you think looks better, the Nissan or GTR emblem?

I'm sure either would look good.
