who's got the fastest maxima out there? what are his mods and what 1/4 mile does he run?

 

You're asking for trouble with a question like that...very controversial topic...I am thinking my stock engine might be the fastest ...that's a good laugh...Just trying to help.

mine.. i have 200 shot of NOS and i run 11.5 1/4 miles

Mine is the fastest, I have a 300zx TT Engine put in, and HKS Turbo Upgrades, Intercooler, and all that ****. I run 10's BIATCH. Beat that sprint max.

 

You're kidding right? You're a high-school student with 300ZX TTs...haha...and does your mama pay for all of this??? You asked for it...

 

Dazamn! How did you do all that? I will soon need a new engine(especially if I run NO2 on it) and I want to put in a 300Z TT engine with turbos but didnt know if it was possible. Please tell me how you did it all. Thanks

1/3There2/3ToGo, I fail to believe a high school kid could afford all of that, do you? I mean come on, a 300ZXtt engine with HKS turbo upgrades would run him MUCH more than the car is worth...even a dealer (and no I don't mean car dealer) couldn't afford that...

 

I see where you are comming from but I go to CU and I will tell you a little story. A girl in my dorm came up here and her parents bought her a brand new 2001 bmw 328I. After the first snow she *****ed about how it handeled so her parents flew out here(from california) and bought her a 2002 landrover discovery! they drove the bmw back with them. She was a freshman at the time. I wouldnt put anything past what some parents will do to make their kids happy. If he has had all this done I would love to know how/where and if I can also do it. My max will not be sold by me until I reach about 30, I want to trick it out to the "max" and do anything to it that will be cool. But I do see your point.

plus the 300zx TT motor is a RWD platform....I have yet to see anyone convert a max to RWD.

 

True, but if you turn the engine 90 degrees you have the maxima engine(almost). Would that cause any problems?

Sorry guys but I have you all beat. I took the engine out of my Max and replaced it with a Geo Metro engine. This thing pulls like no other. I ran a 5 flat 1/4, it was pretty fun. haha Take Care

Anyways I dont really like NOS. I only think its needed for real drag racing. Why would you want to put some **** like that on your car you drive everyday. Just my opinion, its still hella cool.

Yes I realize this. But I dont think id ever do something like that. Hopefully in about 5 to 7 years I can get an M3. Then make that fast as hell. All Dinan Parts, because the existing BMW warranty is effective on Dinan stuff.

 

Yeah, my friend's dad has an 2000 M-Roadster. He has the full Dinan ISr-3 kit including a turbocharger. His car is EXTREMELY loud though, because it is so small. And it doesn't handle as well as you would expect because it is a convertible. His dad also has a stock 2000 M5 and an old (1995) M3 (with a few Dinan mods). I've driven his M5 (his dads really cool) and I thought to myslef...Sorry, but the Maxima feels like a Metro compared to this...

I've got 3 squirrles and a chipmunk(for torque) on hamster wheels powering my max. Exccelent gas mileage, I might add.

 

Who needs an engine anyways.. I just push my car everywhere!!! Now thats power..
