spent the weekend installing all this and it went well for the most part. the parts themselves were great. everything fit together almost perfect. the only thing i have to do is bang out the heat shield that goes over the b-pipe by the gas tank cause when i go over bumbs it hits and rattles a bit. should be an easy fix though. i gotta say that im disappointed in the way it all sounds though. its very "tin-y", sounds like a honda. i did wrap the flex section in header wrap too. sorry to say for all you guys that like it but its just not for me. i havent decided how im gonna get rid of the sound yet but it will be done. i was goin for more of a discret(spelling?) look and have no desire to have my car sound like speed racer so it gotta go. lol. i can feel a difference in power driving, much smoother. the car doesnt feel like its fighting itslef anymore. over all im pleased with it, worth the $1,000.?? im not sure, but it does make a noticable difference

Change the muffler
I did a similar change on my 97. I went with a Stillen Y-pipe, Courtesy B-pipe, and 5th gen muffler. The car is slightly deeper than stock but not much louder. I'm waiting for a good deal on the RT Cat. My exhaust has been a budget and I've spent under $400 so far.

Take the Stillen muffler off. Put either the stock back or a 5th gen. Think you will be happy with the sound.
