brake pads? semimetallic? organic??

there's no need to spend $100+ on those pads.
The Axxis cost 1/2 that and work just as good, if not better. The Metal Masters put out about 35-40% less dust than stock, bite better, and fade less. Not bad for $47 for the front, $38 for the rear
they are semi-metallic if you're wondering.

Thanks for the recommendation. DO you know which model fits on the maximas? And where can you get a hold of these?

I guess I have to repeat myself:
PLEASE LOOK IN THE MAINTENANCE STICKY POST.
Member "got rice?" sells the Metal Masters through his website. ALL info, including a lazy link to purchasing them is there if you will bother to look.
mzmtg's suggestion is good as well if you're in a bind. Also Bendix Titanium IQ pads are good as well and are available at Advance Auto Parts......
