possible to paint chrome trim on gxe black?

i was just wondering if it would be possible to paint the chrome trim on my gxe black including the door handles. and if anyone has done this how long will it hold up? and does it look factory?

There is a "Kill the chrome" guy (sorry i dont remeber the name) who painted nearly everything on his car body colored - window chrome surrounds, grill, door handles, etc. - so yes, it can be done .

i have a 95 gle that did. i used bulldog adhesion promoter first and flat black bumber and trim paint both of which i bought from pep-boys. i probably did it about 2 months ago and i still have no signs of chipping. thats with going through car wash at leat twice a week. it does look factory. i have alot of pics i took while i was doing it if your intrested. email me at kctyphoon@aol.com
