I did some primitive performance testing on my car today (i.e. a stopwatch and an empty stretch of open road) and for some reason my car wouldn't do the 0-60 any faster than 7.9 seconds.

How much difference do the spare tire and 38-pound subwoofer make (yeah I know, I'm one of THEM )?

Also, how long does it take for the ECU to reset when the battery is disconnected? I ask because I disconnected it for about 30 minutes the other day when I installed my Y-pipe.

Thankx

That actually sounds about right.

The stop watch method is so inaccurate though. You could blink that that would throw you way off. Your trying to determine differences in the range of only few tenths of a second with your hand.

I would think so too

I thought even with a stop watch you could still get a litlte better time then that...No worries once u go to a track u can get some good times...

If anyone else reads this post what would u expect a
97 SE 5spd Intake and y pipe setup on good tires...@ 5000feet, i live in utah...ouch that hurts!!
