If i had the resonator removed and had a straight pipe installed in its place how much more noise am i goin to expect? I have a Hayame type 3 muffler right now and its pretty quiet by exhaust standards(and compared to my friends) and i already have that slight drone at 3000 rpms. so what kind of noise increase am i goin to expect inside and outside the car... i was lookin to free up the exhaust alittle bit

Your Max will definately sound louder and more agressive inside and out. I found that there is a better tone at higher rpm's.

It's the round thing right after the pipe that the cat connected to and it looks like a round muffler. Once I added my stillen b-pipe, which doesn't have a resonator, my car got LOUD inside and outside!!

I think the resonator is there to just filter out the high pitch noise and make the car quieter. I may be wrong. Help me out guys. The stillens b-pipe was about $225 I think. Was it worth it? Yea, I wanted my exhaust loud, and that thing made my car hella loud.
