Hi. Are the Koni's really worth the money? How much did they charge you to install them?

Thanks,
Erik

Koni adjustables?

I have KYB GR-2's...
Pretty nice... I like'em. I have Intrax spring with them, and they're pretty firm, but not enough to shake out your brains. I replaced my Tokico blues with them. I would recommend KYB's...but if you're going adjustables, I heard good things about Koni's.

KONIS ARE WORTH THE MONEY I HAVE INTRAX SPRINGS AND GOING LOWER TO SPRINTS. YOU CAN ADJUST FOR A COMFORTABLE RIDE OR A STIFF RIDE. THEY WERE CHARGING ME $45.00 PER SHOCK
TO INSTALL THEM. I ENDED UP DOING IT MY SELF AT A SHOP THAT CHARGED ME $3.00 AN HOUR. PAID $119.00 PER SHOCK AT SUMMIT RACING.

That's a darn great rate... where is this shop?!

You can do it yourself... rent a spring compressor, though.

I just reset my rears yesterday... 75% was too stiff for me... full soft or a half turn seems to suit me best... the fronts are a different matter.... but they are adjustable from the top w/o having to remove unlike the rears.

So the front you can adjust on the fly but the rears you need to remove them? The stiffer = better turns but worse ride, correct?

Thanks again,
Erik

I have the Sprint's and Koni's combo. They are great together. I got a shop to install them for me. I don't remember how the shop set the rears exactly, but they said they set it at the lowest setting, whatever that means. I don't think I'll be adjusting the rears, too much work. The fronts are easy though. Best combo IMO.

JAY25, can you not type all in caps please. Thanks.
