The trunk floor in my maxi seems a little far from level, as well as somewhat flimsy (aren't all oem trunk floors?)
In the near future I want to throw my stereo eq in, including my beefy 12" Treo. When I had it in my integra, it concaved the trunk floor and kind of created a hole for itself to sit in. This time around, I'd like to do something about the floor before putting the sub in. Any ideas? Anyone do a custom trunk floor? I'm not looking to get crazy...just something to keep at least the back portion of the trunk level and sturdy so my sub won't be all over the place.

Also, where's a good place to mount an amp back there? Just taking a quick look, I couldn't think of anything, and you experienced maxi stereo owners would know more about where the wires typically run out to the trunk, good mounting/grounding points, etc.

I cut a piece of plywood in the shape of the trunk and put it in there. That gives a good secure place to mount everything. I have my amps mounted to my sub box.

There are pics on my homepage.
