There is a noise coming from the rear end of my car, when I release my foot from the breaks and I just had a back break job done and the dealership ordered a new part that was supposed to fix it. The noise is a grinding noise that starts when I start to let off of my brakes and lasts for about 10 to 15 seconds. The noise stopped for a couple of days after I got my car back, but now it is starting to do it again. I have a 99 Maxima.

Gas problem maybe? Seriously, there is a TSB about this, but I don't know where it is.

I had the same problem and got it fixed.. They replaced the emergency brake cable.. somehow, it was wrapped around something and causing the moaning noise.. and they replaced the brake pads
