Removing the clock panel is always the hard part. I don't know how to explain re-installation other than to say it just snaps into place. The manuals say simply "Installation is the reverse of removal." There are some metal clips which create this "snap" effect. Is it possible that they dropped to the car floor and remain there, unnoticed?

The most detailed information I've seen anywhere is at the Install Doctor. http://www.installdr.com/InstallDocs...PDF/647021.pdf

My experience, hope it helps...

Check that plastic pins on 2 lower corner of panel are straight and true. I had problem putting the panel flush, then upon furtther inspection, found I had squashed & bent one of the pins which instead of latching into the eye-loop on the top of the radio panel, got stuck between rendering a flush fit impossible. Luckily I was able to straighten it without breakage and the panel just snapped back nicely.

Daniel, thanks a lot, it helped me to put it back as original. now i am sure that my clock is at fault and have to search around for reasonable priced replacement clock.
