Question from a Novice
#1
I know this is a fairly broad question... but I just starting working on my Maxima ( Blue 1996 GLE), and I was wondering where to start. So far I have installed a Place racing CAI, some blue vaccum hoses, and a drop valve for my exhaust. First of all, I rarely hear of people with drop valves, why is that, don't they do more than most any exhaust system can do. But anyways, what would everyone recommend as the next step to the ulimate maxima. I've already bought a set up Eibach pro springs, they just havn't been installed help. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I'm looking for websites also, because maxima stuff isn't too easy to find. Thanks for the help.

Ok, this is for everyone who doesn't know what a drop valve is. You might know it as an exhuast bypass or as a dump valve. It's an offroad pipe that is used to elliminate almost all backpressure in the engine. Go to www.exhuastcutouts.com and you can get more details. If you are safe, this mod can add up between 30-35 hp when activated.
