i just picked up my autometer dual gauge pod. i put an autometer carbon fiber a/f gauge in it. i am going to move my 5" tach to above the center vents and then put the pod in. fuel pressure will be in the other hole. a carbon fiber nitrous pressure gauge will will go in the ciger lighter hole.
- if mike ever cleans out his garage his stillen short throw shifter will go in.
- i want to turn my hks intake into a cold air intake. i have it figured out in my head i just need to to take it to my muffler shop and have them bend me a pipe.
- going to schedule another dyno session for next friday. my only real power mod is removing the intake resanator and 2.5" mandrel bent cat back piping but i need to know!
the rest is just beautification(?) mods - new floor mats, replace a few broken trim pieces. i also plan on putting nos on my car but i a going to build it backwards -fuel pump, plugs, gauges, purge kit and then the actual kit.

 

Mine are minimal. I got my Air filter and strut bar in the mail yesterday. So I will throw these on this weekend most likely. Get them out of the way. After that I dont know what is next. Y pipe maybe?

Just curious, what are you planning to do about water infiltrating into the engine if you turn the HKS mushroom into a CAI? is there going to be some sort of bypass valve? Anyhow my next mod will probably be a random tech cat converter.

First I have to fix a few things that are still wrong with the car, but then I will put on an RSB,FSTB and a new intake, y-pipe, b-pipe, headers and cat back are next, then new wheels tires and springs, etc.

well i need this hot CT. weather to break, when it finally does i will install my ken z828 headunit mtx subs amps speakers etc. and my alteezas everyone luvs so much : ) i just ordered momo tuning pedals and next kyb and sprints... then i will save over fall/winter for 99 conversion, wheels and paint job for the spring... its just seams that even with my 3 jobs i don't have enough money for the mods i want to do...

Has anyone taken out their back seats for weight reduction? Does it make a noticeable difference? Im trying to get a custom y-pipe for around 100... but it's using my old y pipe and just cutting out the cats in their and welding on straight pipeing? Does anyone know if i can just drill the stuff out of the cats or is it too deep into the y pipe to even reach?

 

my next mods are new struts, RSB, 17x8 rims with the widest tires i can put on 'em, and a catback exhaust

 

I'm getting new 17" rims and tires. Hopefully the ADDCO RSB that everyone in the forum is trying to aquire. After that, I'm trying to think of an interesting way to get side marker lights on the car. Any suggestions?

Before the NOPI Nationals on 9/15, Sarona body kit (that thing better get here soon) shaved moldings and trunk keyhole, IS300 blue paint (car is going into the shop Tues.) , custom black/blue door panels, rear seat, and new black carpet, Vitek wire covers (got hooked up by Vitek).

Before HIN Ft. Lauderdale 12/01 - polished intake manifold, KYB AGX shocks (whenever KYB decides to send them to me, then again can't complain because they're going to be free.) Maybe custom headliner and custom dyed dash.

 

I got those a while ago... before the Liberty State Park meet. All my graphics are coming off next pay check for brand new and better ones. Looks almost the same but he's going to lay down yellow firt and place the red on top of it to cause a yellow shaddow over the current designs over the whole car. Also the hood logo for my auto club, my future stores name on the doors, and an extension of the hood graphics leading behind the rear passenger door and the pin stripe on the side will continue all the way to the tail light drop down to the bottom of the car and run forward to the end of my driverside door. It will be a sit to see

Well I need some tint, but first have to get my damn car lowered. Seems to be such a pain in the *** to do it. So some sort of shocks, then tint, then well a stillen kit (yeah right, thatll never happen) Oh also putting on mesh inserts.
