Just bought a 95 Maxima GXE and I have a few questions that I need help with. First off, I need a right front fender, any suggestions on used parts for these cars (I'm in Florida). Second, the automatic transmission is sluggish when shifting and sometimes it clunks (which you can feel inside the car)when it hits the next gear, any ideas. Will a 98 front bumper cover fit on my 95? It looks like there was just a exterior design change, but I'm not sure. This car is the wife's and I was pleasently surprised at the its performance. I drive a 5.0 Mustang everyday (Don't shoot me), but the Maxima's performance is very respectable and smooth. Furthermore, this site is extremely cool and informative. Thanks for letting me hang out and I hope you can help me out with some answers. See ya.

Thanks for the info. I'm glad someone finally posted a response. I was just hoping for some quick and free answers. I'll probably end up going OEM on the fender because none of the salvage yards in my area has any available. I'll check out the vb upgrade. I like the look of the later bumper covers, plus a guy I know is upgrading his grouns effects and I'm getting his old kit. I think it's from Wings West. That and maybe some wheels and springs and that might be all I'll be able to talk the wife into. Again, thanks for the info. See ya.

thank me later!

I have done some minor mods to my car that I thought were fairly easy. Here are two links that I thought were very neat and helpful.

Ps. thanks to the members who have these sites up to help beginners like me.
