Can anyone tell me the exact name of the color of my car. I have a 96 Gle and its the really dark shade of green that basically looks black at night. Some have told me its a deep evergreen color, but I believe thats the green color from the 97-99's. Others have told me its forest green, but I'm not positive.

its probably sage mist green. but to make sure, open the hood, look in the firewall, there is a little metal plate with info on it like the vin # and so on. look at the color code... should be two letters and a number. (thanks medicsonic )
then just check out the color either at the dealer or over the net.

I checked edmunds.com and it says 96 is Deep Evergreen.

The '96 Nissan Maxima sales brochure also lists the color as Deep Evergreen.

It is probably Deep Evergreen. Thats the color of my car. And they do make a Deep Evergreen in 96 because our 95 was that color.
