I'm thinking about buying these new rims Neeper Dagg. They sort of look like the momo arrows in chrome. Anyway they are
only selling two offsets for the 18 ins(18x8.5 114.3). 45 offset or 34 I would like to get the 45 but don't want the rubbing problem. The rim cones in like the arrows also. My Ques is will they fit or should I go with the 34. I did a search and found out the stock is 38. How could these rims be a smaller offset than stock. Holla back

RE: Neeper Daags...

Firstly, those are really nice rims - I was looking at them for a while. Anyways, the ideal Maxima offset is 40mm, and even though 45mm is closer I will advise you to go with the 34mm because it is physically much better to go with them. Your wheel will look like this /o o\ as opposed to this \o o/ . I hope you understand what I am saying and good look with your search. Just trying to help.

34 offset

yo vyrus, I saw these on a 93 acura legend and fell in love with them. So you said do go with the 34 ha. why do you think they made them in a 34 offset. with the 34 will they
kick out (towards the curb) or in (towards the brake). Sorry I couldn't quite understand the diagram. Thanks again Vyrus for answering.

With the 34...

The bottom will be pushed out, and the top a little further into the wheelwell. If | is the wheel, it will slant like this: ENGINE\ . The 45mm will look like this ENGINE/ . That will look wierd and provide much less function. Just trying to help.

With a 8.5" wide wheel, I would try the 34mm offset.

45mm would work too-- the recommendation for 8" wide wheels normally is 35~43mm. With 34mm you may rub on the fenders, but that's better than rubbing on your shocks!

34mm = further out.
45mm = further in.

Actually, I know someone in SoCal has his car dropped more than 2" and was using 18x8 Volk Racing AV3's with a +43mm offset. He cleared just fine, but it's the extra 1/2" of rim width you have which I am not sure about.

Vyrus: you're talking about camber, not offset... right? Offset is how far away from centerline the wheel's hub is... NOT its angle to the tires. www.tirerack.com and www.tires.com explain offset, toe, camber, caster, etc. very well.

34 it is.

Since I took a life line and asked the audianc what they thought,I'll pick the 34 offset. Thanks vyrus, Brian, and regis for playing "who once to buy some Neepers". You guys are great.

Re: 34 it is.

Go with the 34, it will look much better. I had 35 offset wheels and they looked perfect. Then my 19"s were 42 offset and looked horrible, so I spaced them out 6 mm in front and 5mm in back and they're perfect now.

Rim Shopping

Saturday I went to a rim store in the Bronx Websters wheels
and check out another hot rim. The style is a take of the
MAE rim, and the SB 90 rim. They sort of look like something that should be on a Benz. Flat piece of chrome
with squares cut outs. i hope you know what I mean. Anyway, I may get these in chrome. The price was $1500 18inch with Kumo tires and locks. He had all different types of tires but for more money. Their price are hot and the best part about it they have them in stock. You don't have to order them.
My question is what other cars does ower rims fit.
Do they fit a Mazda millinia. I have a friend who has a millinia and wants my old rims. Please list some cars. When i get my rims i'll try to post a pic.
