I just noticed today, that when my car is running, there is transmission fluid practically pouring out. When I cut the car off, it drips, but doesn't really pour. I'm sure this is becuase my tranny is a big POS and has been rebuilt, never the same. Just wanted to see what you all might think it might be.

Today, I had to take my car to work, and I was stopped by a train, and noticed it was smoking. As soon as I got to work, I noticed it was still dripping tranny fluid and then there was smoke coming out from under the hood, and wheel wells. Man this makes me angry.

tranny fluid

Have you been able to locate where the transmission fluid is leaking from? If its not the fill or drain plug, I probably wouldn't drive it unless I had to....if you can locate where its dripping from, I think there'd be a better chance that people here could help.

I had to drive my car to work today. When I was going to leave, I checked the dipstick for the transmission fluid, it was really really low, so I put some transmission fluid in it, and it all came back out the bottom. I think I am going to get my car towed to the dealer Monday. I'm trying to convince my parents to get me an '02 6spd.
