Where the heck to I tap into the lines? The shop manual says use the line coming out the top of the fuel filter, however I get like a 0 psi reading out of this line if the vortech t-rex pump is on. Otherwise, it reads 37psi at idle.

The shop manual is correct. You should get 34 psi at idle with the fuel pressure regulator connected, and 43 psi with the regulator disconnected and it's hose plugged. Your reading of 37 psi is "in the ball park".

I don't know what a "vortech t-rex pump" is. If this is a modification to the engine, consult with the pump manufacturer.

I guess when the boost is on, the vortex t-rex pump takes over. Where does the vortex t-rex pump fuel line ends? It has to go to the fuel rail right? I would tap it at the fuel rail then. I tap mine on tap of the fuel filter and I'm getting correct readings. On the stock max, the fuel goes from the fuel filter to the fuel rail.

I taped just before the in side of the fuel rail.

Works for me. I had to get a small hose barb "T" fitting and some hose to plumb it in. Its a tight fit but its close to the rail and provides a good preasure reading.

Yeah, the

re: I guess when the boost is on, the vortex t-rex pump takes over.

Correct.

re: Where does the vortex t-rex pump fuel line ends?

It ends right into the fuel rail supplying the middle 3 injectors.

Okay...did you have any problems with the T fitting leaking? I have 1/4 barbs going into 5/16 tube. The guy at home depot said that the 1/4 should be fine if I clamp them down hard. I guess not. They still leak some.

I am also kind of curious, if the pressure drop at the line coming out the filter is alright.
