I asked my mechanic if there was a stronger piston made for the max and he said no but he does know someone that can ceramic coat them. He said that you could run NOS for 300k and it would never eat the piston at ALL. The catch is that it costs 900 bucks per piston!!! Does anyone make a "heavy duty" piston for our cars?

Ah.. that's insane pricing for ceramic coatings for pistons.

Your mechanic is misinformed. There might not be off the shelf aftermarket pistons but most of the major aftermarket piston makers can custom manufacture pistons for your applications. This goes for rods and cranks also.

Even a stock piston would probably last 300k if your nos and fuel was tuned right. But if you shot is too big and the fuel was run too lean, almost NOTHING will save the piston. Especially if the engine start detonating on that lean mix.
