Hi I have a few questions about the stillen supercharger which i want to get. i need to know what else i need to do to my stock standard nissan cefiro (japan vq25dd motor)as it will cost me 7900 for the actual kit which is nearly the cost of my car

1 would i need to put in bigger injectors to stop lean out?
2 what does it do to fuel consumption? im pretty tight with my money. as i figure it, more air would make the ecu deliver more fuel to keep air/fuel ratio right.
3 would a boost controller help for open road driving when not racing to reduce boost to a minimum therefore less air, less fuel, which means less kw
4 would i need a bigger exhaust or just a hi flow muffler?
5 do they wear out engines?
6 has anyone had any problem with overheating?
7 has anyone had one of these on an auto? (like i have)

well thats all i can think of, if anyone has any advice that I havent thought of, please do tell
Thanks all the way From NZ

Some advice from across the Tasman, Dude sell the Cefiro get a 300zxtt or a GTST Skyline, you'd be wasting ya money otherwise get a 3ltr version.
The R33 produces 200kwrw with exhaust and off the shelf boost valve, with all the cars available in NZ, you'd really be wasting ya money. Good Luck

It's pretty cool to have a Cefiro member from over seas. It whould be nice to have more people from other parts of the world here becuase it whould be cool to learn more about stuff over there. BTW Welcome!

Now for the SC, I whould wonder if the kit would actualy fit your 2.5 liter engine. Your Pulleys would have to be in the exact same location as the 3.0 VQ engine over here, also if you want to connect the air tube properly your engine whould have to have the same demension yet again. Another cause for concern is the demensions of your throttle body. I am sure the TOB whould be able to work but the position of it may cause a problem. Also like you said, the internals may not be up to the challenge of 6PSI of boost. That I do not know..

If I am not mistaken is'nt there a 3.O Liter VQ30DET{Turbo} in japan, I whould think it whould be cheaper to put that engine in and tune the Turbo charger on that rather then get a SC from over here. From what I have heard the 3.0 L Turbo engine in Japan is able to safely handle 10 PSI and a 40 shot+ of Nitrous. One or two members over here has imported the internals from that engine and can run in the 12's{11.8 actually} and even 11's in the 1/4 mile with a SC and NOS attached to the rebuilt engine. Infact many people seem to be interested in rebuilding there engines with JDM turbo internals, this could be a good bussiness oppertunitiy for you if you handeled it correctly.

If you want to know if your engine is the same demensions as ours, let me know the demensions and post a picture and I am sure I could give you a pretty good idea if the SC whould fit or not.

Cool, for some reason I thought you from Japan, my bad. There is a shop that has installed Turbos on A32 maximas from NZ. Check out there web site at www.prestigeautomotive.co.nz , talk to Peter over there. I recently imported headers from this shop and the quality of the craftsmen ship is superb. BTW they make a body kit for your car ans tuff too. Have fun and let us know how it goes.
