I have a 96 max, and this guy at stillen said the 96 and up ECU's from UPRS don't work. He told me that the maxima computers are all different, and on some max's UPRS's ECU's set off the check engine light. Could someone explain what the deal is with Sillen and UPRS? I'm almost ready to just go and get a 50 shot of Nos for 500 bucks, and be done with power upgrades.

Wait less than one day and you will find out. Really though, just because you talked to someone at Stillen, doesn't mean that sales guy knows diddly squiddly. I mean if you talked to Steve Millen himself maybe. But hey, definate results are only hours away.

I'll be waiting!

I had a JWT ECU in my 91 240sx, and I loved it, it gave me 10 more hp, 15 tq, and 400 more rpm's. I sold that car to my friend over 2 years ago, and I can't believe the engine hasn't died in it yet, with over 15000 miles of abusive rev happy driving. I hope I hear some good news soon about this *****.

When I bought my rear sway bar from Stillen, some peices were missing. I go back to get the missing peices and the rep that greets me asks "What's a rear sway bar?"

If I'm not mistaken, the only two people in the world with UPRD ECU's on Maximas are Cheston and Nabil. They have not had any problems yet, so where is Stillen getting this information? I won't even call that place anymore because the salespeople are so ignorant and because they cuss like sailors the whole time I'm talking to them. It doesn't really offend me, it just shows a complete lack of respect. Moral of this story: Stillen must be full of it.
